KPGA members are spread out, more or less, evenly between East End and West End, this has manifested itself in alternating between Golf courses on the East and West End respectively. Also, in general, 9 hole courses are preferred over 18 holes for variety of reasons from time commitment to cost. KPGA has a guideline that recommends that at least one 18 hole game be played in a given month. Depending upon the availability of Tee-off times on the various courses, the following are the ones that KPGA members frequent very often:

This is amongst the longest 9 hole courses in and around GTA. The greens are impeccable and the fairways are long and well maintained. All in all a 9 hole course that gives you a feel of 18 holes played.

$33-$35

This is an easy looking 18hole course with very different front and back nines. The back nine is tougher than the front one. It is a flat course that provides players some tolerance. KPGA usually plays 9 holes at Streetsville.

$25

Derrydale Golf Club

(West-End)

This used to be an 18 hole facility, but lately half of the course has been sold as real estate. However, the reduced 9 hole facility is pretty decent and provides a good value for money.

$25-$30

Centennial Golf Club

(West-End)

This is a 27 hole public facility. The course is a linked course with flat fairways. Some of the greens are really good while others are not so. This course doesn’t entertain bookings and has a “First Come First Served” policy. Convenient location of this club along with Driving Range facility makes it popular

This is a huge facility with 3 different 18 hole courses. The course layout is Links style and is laid out over a decent yardage. The “Championship Course” is a very well laid out course that frequently provides two huge “Weeping Willows” just in front of the green. All in all, a very good course with a “good bang for the buck”.
